Responsible Riders OHV Education
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) Responsible Riders course provides a building block style learning environment. Your learning begins after registering for a specific course date and location.
Training includes a blend of classroom and field training with the following topics:
What do I bring?
You must wear the proper riding gear at all times during training.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Your IDPR snowmobile registration sticker funds pay for the course.
Do I use my own snowmobile?
Yes.
Can I share a snowmobile?
No. The course is fast paced and generally is held miles from the trailhead.
